His actions had created so much tension in the town that the chiefs and people of Krofrom had sent him to court. The complainant said the statement was untrue fabricated, malicious and meant to tarnish his hard earned reputation. <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;line-height:115%"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;line-height:115%;font-family:"Book Antiqua","serif"">Officers representing Kessben 93.3 FM at the Settlement Committee agreed that they had not treated Hon. Dr. Appiah-Kubi fairly and admitted the professional lapses in their story.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;line-height:115%"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;line-height:115%;font-family:"Book Antiqua","serif"">The Management of Kessben 93.3 FM had earlier sent a letter of apology to the Commission stating that: <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;line-height:115%"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;line-height:115%;font-family:"Book Antiqua","serif"">There was no quarrel or tension between Hon. Dr. Appiah-Kubi and the chiefs and people of Krofrom, Nobody has ever threatened Hon Appiah-Kubi at Krofrom, Hon. Dr. Appiah-Kubi has not been sent to court by any person at Krofrom nor has the Hon Member of Parliament lost his popularity among the people of his constituency. <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;line-height:115%"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;line-height:115%;font-family:"Book Antiqua","serif"">They agreed to retract the story and apologize on air to the MP. The Complainant duly accepted their apology.
