The Respondent however failed to respond to the letter served on the Chief <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;line-height:115%"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;line-height:115%;font-family:"Book Antiqua","serif"">Executive Officer on 24th October, 2016 and received and signed by One Georgina. font-family:"Book Antiqua","serif"">That the Complainants are seeking reliefs of their April & May, 2016 salaries as well as compensation for their wrongful terminations. <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;line-height:115%"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;line-height:115%;font-family:"Book Antiqua","serif"">The Commission upon exhausting Regulation 7(2) of L.I. 1822 and upon careful study of the complaint before it decides as follows: <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;line-height:115%"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;line-height:115%;font-family:"Book Antiqua","serif"">1. That the Respondent did not give the Complainants any opportunity to be heard in accordance to the law of natural justice and that he similarly failed to follow legal procedures to terminate the appointments of the Complainants and therefore renders the terminations unfair. <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;line-height:115%"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;line-height:115%;font-family:"Book Antiqua","serif"">That the Respondent should pay to each Complainant one months' salary as payment in lieu of notice. <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;line-height:115%"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;line-height:115%;font-family:"Book Antiqua","serif"">3. That the Respondent should pay to the Complainants their April & May, 2016 salaries in aurears. <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;line-height:115%"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;line-height:115%;font-family:"Book Antiqua","serif"">That the Respondent should pay to each Complainant six (6) month's gross salary as compensation for unfair termination. <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;line-height:115%"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;line-height:115%;font-family:"Book Antiqua","serif"">That the payment should be made at the National Labour Commission within fourteen (14) working days upon receipt of this decision. <o:p></o:p></span></p><p>
